On December 3, the International Day of the Basque Language will be celebrated. Real, which has been carrying out the Basque plan in the Real Sociedad for years, is absolutely committed to the promotion and practice of the Basque language, both inside the club and the society.
In the coming days, several actions will be organized in the Basque Country. ‘Euskaraldia’, is an initiative that will take place from November 23 to December 3, 2018 and which objective is to to promote the Basque language and influence the linguistic behavior. During those days, all the people who speak Basque or undsertand it, will try to communicate with each other. You can be Ahobizi (I will speak in Basque with people who understand the language, even if they answer in Spanish). If I address to people I don’t know, my first work will be in Basque) or Belarriprest (talk to me in Basque, I understand. No matter if I answer in Basque or Spanish, I want you to talk to me in Basque). Everyone involved in the initiative will be identified by a badge with the words Ahobizi or Belarriprest.
