By bike. This is how the children from project Amets Bat came today to visit Zubieta´s facilities.
The children from the schools Orereta Ikastola (Errenteria) and Udarregi Ikastola (Usurbil) gathered at Zubieta and had a great morning thanks to Amets Bat, the successful initiative by Real Sociedad Fundazioa.
153 boys and girls were lucky to know each and every corner of Zubieta. When they arrived, we knew that it was going to be a great day. They were full of joy and excitement, such good things don’t happen everyday!
To begin with, the instructors divided the children into teams and then they visited the facilities. They were able to look around the different pitches, they watched a video about the history and values of the club and enjoyed playing sporting games.
They still had energy because they knew that the most special moment of the day was about to arrive. At the end of the training session, they had the chance to meet the first team players personally and got their autographs. Then, they went to the first floor of Gainditu building. A big surprise was awaiting. The doors were opened to welcome Carlos Vela and Itziar Gastearena. They had a good time with them, they asked them questions and one by one asked for their autographs. They will always remember this autograph and will watch over it.
They will visit the San Sebastian Aquarium this afternoon and next November 29 they will complete the activity watching the match Real Sociedad-Lleida Esportiu at Anoeta.
